I joined Six & Geving Insurance in 2002 with a specific focus to become the marketing specialist for all new accounts. I’ve grown with the company pursuing the professional designation of CIC – Certified Insurance Counselor. I was also named the Account Manager of the Year in 2019 by the Professional Independent Insurance Agents of Colorado (PIIAC).

I have more than 40 years experience in the insurance industry holding positions in sales, marketing, underwriting and management. Having lived in Colorado since 1982, I understand the the issues business owners face and am able to assist them in putting together comprehensive insurance programs to properly protect their business. Areas of expertise include, but are not limited to restaurants, environmental contractors, architects/engineers, contractors and non-profit organizations.

I started out as a stay at home mom until my oldest son was in high school, then I decided to go to real estate school and I worked for Ryland Homes on site for 10 years selling new homes in the Denver area. When the market changed, I worked for Sunshine Paper Co. as a Customer Service Representative for 14 years. I wanted a change and had a opportunity to work for   Six and Geving Insurance. I have two grown boys and three grand children.

My background  features more than 32 years of insurance experience in both personal and commercial lines.  My insurance career began as an agency owner in Texas over 30 years ago.  I moved to Colorado in 1998 and worked with both national and Local insurance firms on various types of businesses including municipalities, school districts, construction, retail, manufacturing and distributors.  I joined Six and Geving Insurance in 2010 and added my expertise as an Executive Producer in our Property & Casualty Division. My team and I pride ourselves in customer service and advocating on behalf of our clients.

In 2022, I will be in the insurance industry for 50 years. I have worked in various job positions in the past and for the last 25 years I have been a commercial lines agent for Six & Geving. I specialize in writing all lines of commercial coverage for businesses. Providing excellent customer service is one of the reasons I have a very high client retention level.

I have worked in the insurance industry for 23 years. I work as a customer care representative handling claims, service requests, certificates and renewals. I enjoy working with both the clients and the staff at the companies to offer the best service possible.

I’m a Colorado native, born and raised in the beautiful town of Evergreen.  I grew up loving to be outdoors and being part of a small mountain community.  I continued that love in scenic Glenwood Springs where I attended college earning my Associates Degree.  I first started my insurance career in 2010, joining Six & Geving Insurance as receptionist.  Like most people, I didn’t pursue a career in insurance, it pursued me.  I quickly caught on, was promoted from my receptionist position, obtained my Property & Casualty license in 2011, and soon earned my CISR designation in 2013.  I continued my education and recently earned my CIC designation in 2021.

I’m a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy and retired veteran fighter pilot with active and reserve service.  I’m also a former airline pilot as well as government contractor serving as Task Lead supporting NORAD/USNORTHCOM. For nearly two decades, I’ve served as Vice President of Surety, overseeing the bond needs for all Six & Geving’s construction clients.  I have extensive experience managing risk for manufacturing, technology and service companies working locally, regionally, nationally and internationally, providing my clients advice and industry leading products at a lower overall cost.

I have five years experience in employee benefits since transitioning out of a 14 year career in food service and restaurant management.  After starting with a small supplemental insurance carrier I moved on to owning and operating my own brokerage for several years before coming to Six & Geving Insurance.

I’m a Colorado native and began my career in insurance in 2007, starting as a personal lines agent at a small independent agency in Calhan, CO.  In 2012, life took me to Culver City, CA, where I lived for eight years, working at a community based insurance agency eventually moving into the commercial insurance field.  I moved back to Colorado Springs in 2020 to be close to my family.  After a brief break working in the real estate business I am greatful to be back in insurance and part of Six & Geving.
